Illinois Emissions System Repair

In Illinois, vehicles are required to have an emissions test at a state test center before the license plate will be renewed for that year. If a vehicle doesn’t pass this test, repairs will need to be made.  Pulse Auto Care can perform those necessary repairs in order to get your vehicle to pass the test and put you back on the road. These repairs not only help clean the air but also improve the vehicle’s performance and fuel economy.  As a bonus to our customers, we will personally bring your car through emissions, in order to insure succesful completion and compliance. We take pride in making sure our customers are inconvenienced as little as possible.

In addition, If your check engine light is on in your vehicle, that is the first indication of a problem. Typically, your vehicle will not pass if the light is on or has been turned off.  Come see us before you take your test, as a courtesy we will scan your check engine light for free. If your vehicle has an emissions code, we will make necessary repairs.  Emissions tests are required every 2 years.
